WAR MEMORIALS IN THE PARISH OF NORTHOP
The villages of Northop, Northop Hall and Sychdyn (Soughton)
Croeso/Welcome to
www.northopwm.com.
This website is all about the various War Memorials that exist in the Parish of Northop, Flintshire, North Wales UK.  It attempts to tell the stories of each of the servicemen named on them - who they were, where they lived and worked and details about their families. Wherever possible, old photographs, news cuttings and family memorabilia have been included. The website traces the history of each of the three memorials in the parish and how the communities set about remembering the dead after  the two World Wars.
It will be of interest to genealogists, family historians and those interested in the First World War and Second World War as well as to people living in Northop Parish.
