Biographical Details Known His parents were Joseph and Sarah Elizabeth Latham of New Brighton Row, Northop Hall. He served in the army for two years and three months. The family gravestone in Northop churchyard tells a sad story because Thomas died just two months after his mother's death. The gravestone inscription reads as follows,
