Biographical Details Known Will was born in Northop Hall in 1888 the same year that his    mother, Mary died when she was 33 years old. (Did she die giving birth to him?). The 1911 census records that Will lived in Pentre Moch, Northop Hall with his father William who was a 58 year old bootmaker who describes himself as married even though he had been a widower for more than 20 years. The census form tells us that there had been two children born to the marriage and that they were both still alive. Will jnr was 22 and was a boot repairer.  They lived in three rooms.

Uk Soldiers who Died in the Great War (accessible on www.ancestry.co.uk) tells us that he enlisted at Kinmel Park near Bodelwyddan  and that he was Killed in Action in France/Flanders.

Will is commemorated on the family gravestone in Northop churchyard as follows,
